The Warehouse Update

Here at The Warehouse all hands have been on deck in response to the threat to demolish the building to make room for the Bordesley Chords – which you will no doubt have heard about already. While we strongly support the overall principle of the scheme, it’s increasingly clear that these specific proposals are not just bad for BFoE and our building’s community, but also for the local economy, conservation, nature, wider environment and value for money. We are working with others on alternatives. The support from the huge community of people and organisations that use the building has been overwhelming.

We’ve put together some guidance on how to respond to the consultation and urge you to respond if you possibly can. We are also organising an Open Day on 22 August (12-3pm) which will provide an opportunity to enjoy the building and garden, ask questions and get more guidance on how to respond!
