The Warehouse is Birmingham Friends of the Earth’s environmental community building which is home to our campaigns activity, meeting space, a Cafe, Sprocket Cycles, Voce Books, Brumradio, Vivid Arts and a whole host of charities and voluntary groups. We’re looking for someone with DIY skills (basic or better!) for regular volunteering to help keep the building looking good and running well.
- Painting and decorating
- Fixing things
- Cleaning windows or a spot of gardening
- Sorting our tool store
- Any other DIY tasks that suit your skills and interests!
You can commit as much or as little time as you like and work with on your own or with others. A weekly (weekday) slot would be perfect but there are other options.
Your volunteering will be helping Birmingham FOE and all these groups to achieve their aims; you can learn new skills or share your knowledge and help others. Past volunteers have found it fun, made friends and sometimes found paid jobs as a result of their volunteering.
