Tucked away just behind Moor Street Station is our little green community called the Warehouse, which comprises of a vegan/vegetarian restaurant, Birmingham Friends of the Earth offices, an energy saving co-op, a vegan store and a cycle shop. Not many people know that The Warehouse is also home to a meeting room – a perfect meeting place for small groups (12-20) to get together to promote the environment and / or the arts. It’s cheap to rent, helps out a good cause and you can even get some yummy vegetarian food while you are here.
To raise awareness about this wonderful space we are holding a competition to see who can come up with the most interesting use of the room. This could be for a club that you already have that needs a place to meet or for something you would like to create. We want your ideas! The best idea will be rewarded with free use of the meeting room!
To enter, please fill in the following submission form with your pitch about how you would use the meeting room. Please include contact information, your idea for a club or already existing club and why using the room would be important to you and your group. The meeting room is currently available Tuesday, Thursday or Friday night.
Entries will be judged based on creativity, passion, experience and the impact on the Warehouse. Submissions are due by September 6th. We look forward to hearing all your great ideas!
